| Cooperation between Instituto
Cervantes Munich and HHGF The Instituto Cervantes and the HHGF agreed on a future cooperation on October 5, 2005. The partners will cooperate in the scope of the concerto series “Guitarrisimo” which is organized by the Instituto Cervantes. The concerto series ranges from traditional Spanish guitar music to jazz music. Selected concerts will be digitally recorded and subsequently reviewed and evaluated by a jury of the Hermann Hauser Guitar Foundation and will be produced in the scope of the guitar label. The productions will be tagged “Edition Cervantes”. Earnings from CD sales will be prorated to the artists and to the HHGF for the purpose of promoting young talents. For artists who are not yet well-known this is a handsome opportunity to reach a broad audience. Discussions and reviews of the productions will be published on the websites www.guitarfoundation.de and www.cervantes-muenchen.de Already well-known musicians participate in outstanding recording quality, which is the target the label aims at regarding its productions. At that, live recordings of classical guitar music pose a special challenge to artists and sound engineers. October 18, 2005 |
