On Friday, January 14, 2005, Heidi Schmidt and Klaus Wolfgang Wildner met Mr. Wolfgang Plattmeier, First Mayor of Hersbruck, Mr. Johannes Michel, organizer of the festival, and Mr. Arnoldo Moreno, artistic head of the International Guitar Festival Hersbruck to have a conversation at the Starnberger Lake close to Munich.

In 2005, Hersbruck organizes the 6^th International Guitar Festival, where various Foundation members will also take part as lecturers and interpreters.

Close cooperation between the Foundation and the city of Hersbruck as the organizer of the festival was agreed upon. Foundation members will support the festival by making their own contributions. We will largely report on the guitar festival on this website.

Arnoldo Moreno is an active member of the Foundation curatorship and being artistic head of the festival, he is interested in utilizing the various conceptional possibilities and artistic competences in the Foundation in order to add new important impulses to the festival. In this regard suggestions for the planned opening concert in 2005 could be discussed.
