| EUROPEAN GUITAR AWARD |
Thomas Fellow, Klaus Wolfgang Wildner and Augustin Wiedemann disscused in 2006 the projekt „European Guitar Award“ in detail, which is realised based on a proposal and the initiative of professor Thomas Fellow. This contest is to happen periodically, every two years, taking off in 2006.
The target audience of this contest consists of young emerging guitar talents. The contest is limited to people not older than 30 years of age. In contrast to several other contests candidates should apply for the award with thier own compositions.
Besides a prize money, the winners are produced by Wildner Records. Further information about the EGA and the application form are published on our website regularly.
The first European Guitar Award took place in Dresden (Germany) in April 2006. The winner is the outstanding Hungarian virtuose Antal Pusztai. His debut album 'Wonderland' is to be released in April 2007, produced by Wildner Records.
The second EUROPEAN GUITAR AWARD will be announced in 2009.
